You’ll have the freedom to explore ideas, experiment with sound, and collaborate closely with directors and editors throughout the creative process.
Drawing from real industry expectations, composers in film and visual media are often tasked with creating scores that complement key scenes, reflect emotional arcs, and maintain narrative cohesion throughout the project. This role isn’t just about writing notes, it’s about understanding the story’s heartbeat and translating that into music that feels alive and connected to the work
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely to understand the project's evolving goals and preferences
- Propose musical styles, genres, and creative directions suitable for the project
- Compose original music tailored to the agreed-upon vision and requirements
- Provide variations, motifs, and thematic material that can evolve with the project’s pacing
- Revise and refine compositions based on feedback and ongoing discussions
- Deliver high-quality audio files in the required formats
- Communicate progress and provide regular updates throughout the project
