On-set sound is an essential part of how a story comes alive. Capture performances, ambient atmosphere and dialogue with clarity and care. Sound recording is art that supports the emotional and narrative rhythm of every project. You’ll work alongside directors, cinematographers, and the rest of the crew to ensure audio is captured in a way that feels natural and integral to the visual experience.
Sharp ear, calm presence, and thoughtful approach to recording sound during live production are the key. Creativity, adaptability, and a sense of collaboration are also just as important. The work requires focus, awareness, and sensitivity to both the environment and the people within it. It suits someone who listens carefully, anticipates moments, and understands how sound can tell a story.
